Alisha was born in Florida on 14 July 1989. The first time she acted was in 2008's movie Murder on Her Mind. It was during the 2010s where she made her first movie role on 2014.'s Just Before I Go. Also, she made one-episode roles on TV show Criminal Minds and Married. She was raised in Dallas, Texas with her siblings and parents. Holland Roden attended the Hockaday School, a private girls school. She is from a medical background, where her family members are active in UCLA women's studies as well as molecular biology. Holland Roden did pre-medical studies at one point because she wanted to become a cardiothoracic surgical. Later, she decided to join the world of acting. Others shows, like Major Crimes and Switched at Birth also featured her in part-time roles. In the two seasons of General Hospital she played Nurse Kelsey. She also appeared in the role of Maia Roberts for the Freeform TV series Shadowhunters. In the following year, she was a guest star in the Netflix show Raising Dion. She is set to star with Justin Timberlake in Palmer.
