Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson was an American actress who is best known for portraying Buffy Summers, in the famous film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The other roles she has played include Rebecca Becky Granger from the telefilm Nightingales as well as the very short-lived NBC program of the exact same name. Erica Paget played Early Edition in CBS and Marlowe Viccellio starred in Psych. Born in California, Swanson discovered her love for acting when an early child. The following year, in the love story Pretty in Pink, Swan made her first appearance on the big screen. Swan gained notoriety for her blonde lisp and her breathless voice. Recently, she's shifted from main roles to secondary characters. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category in 1989.
